Accepting the job as an Assistant Coach for the Brooklyn Nets after playing in China and Isreal, Amare is excited to be back in the NBA and working with Kyrie and K.D. Seeing it all come around 360 working with Steve as they both played in Phoenix for the Suns is fulfilling. Being once a legendary Knicks player, the respect is still there and now he want's to bring those values to the Nets. Having a hard childhood growing up with a brother that was in the streets and a mom that was in and out of jail, he had to make grown up decisions. The NBA was the best thing to happen to him being drafted at 18 and being the first to get rookie of the year fresh of out only 2 years of High School.
